Alongside his activities as hairdresser in the Salon, Patrick also cuts and styles for film, television. magazines, theatres and the fashion world. His speciality as the Historical Hairdresser has lead to an outstanding reputation in styling for "period" productions.

Whilst working on a film production in Hollywood, Patrick made acquaintance with the William Marvy Company, a family run producer of quality hairdressing products.
Of many products bearing the Marvy name, they are most famous for being the producer of the original Barber Pole (the symbol of hairdressing), selling more than 75,000 worldwide since the 1930s. The 75,000th manufactured Barber Pole is to be found in the collection of the Smithsonian Institute - the highest honour bestowed on an American product.
